Aboard the powerful and stylish MIG 50 motor yacht, this itinerary guides you through the historic seaside towns of Gaeta and Sperlonga, the volcanic splendor of Ischia, and the colorful enclaves of Procida, Naples, and Sorrento. This Gulf of Naples sailing route balances history, leisure, gastronomy, and panoramic views, all experienced with the refinement and performance that only a luxury motor yacht can deliver.
About Our Service in Positano & Gulf of Naples
Day 1: Cruise from Salerno to Gaeta, a striking coastal city known for its golden beaches and medieval character. Visit the dramatic Montagna Spaccata, a massive split cliff housing a sanctuary. Explore the narrow lanes of the Old Town and enjoy your evening at the waterfront, sampling local seafood as the yacht rests in the sheltered harbor.
Day 2: Sail to Sperlonga, a charming whitewashed village perched above the sea. Tour the Grotto of Tiberius and the attached Archaeological Museum before relaxing on the soft sandy beaches. The tranquility of the area is complemented by its understated elegance, perfect for a quiet onboard dinner at anchor.
Day 3: A longer leg brings you to Ischia, a volcanic island celebrated for its wellness culture. Soak in the natural thermal springs at Negombo Thermal Park or take a hike up Mount Epomeo for panoramic views. The island’s blend of lush gardens and rich history makes it a haven for both adventure and rejuvenation.
Day 4: Sail to Procida, a smaller, colorful island that remains one of Italy’s best-kept secrets. Dock in Marina Corricella and enjoy its picture-perfect charm. Savor fresh pastries at a bakery and spend the afternoon swimming in Chiaiolella Bay, where the calm waters invite total relaxation.
Day 5: Head to Naples and anchor near Castel dell’Ovo, the city’s oldest standing fortification. Explore Spaccanapoli’s vibrant streets, shop local artisan districts, and of course, indulge in an authentic Neapolitan pizza at its birthplace. Naples offers the perfect fusion of culture and cuisine.
Day 6: Cruise to Sorrento, a cliffside town overlooking the bay. Walk through lemon groves, sip freshly made limoncello, and shop the local markets for handcrafted goods. The town’s ambiance and waterfront scenery make it a favorite final stop before closing your loop.
Day 7: Return to Salerno with a reflective morning cruise along the coast. Share a final breakfast onboard or enjoy a marina-side espresso before disembarking, marking the end of an elegant coastal experience filled with charm, comfort, and unforgettable views.
